Derbyshire
River Dove
(Tributaries: Sutton Brook)
This beautiful little river marks the boundary for some considerable distance,
of Derbyshire and Staffordshire and therefore can be claimed by both counties
as their river.
1) The Charles Cotton Hotel; Hartington, has a short section of the south bank
of the Dove. The water is heavily treed but well worth a try. For permits -

2) Izaak Walton Hotel:, Dovedale, Ashbourne, has 2 miles of BB fishing on this
most picturesque section of river. Fishing reserved for hotel guests only,
