Grayling News is published 4 times each year and issues contain news items of interest to all anglers, especially the committed members of the Society.
The
President's Award
Presented for the first time at the GS AGM
in 2004 – the
Trophy was awarded posthumously to Dr Ron Broughton
for his many
years of conservation work.
Ron was a founder
member of the Society and a giant in the world of game fishing, his energy
and enthusiasm were legendary. He made a huge contribution to the very
many angling clubs and committees he was involved with not least to the
Grayling Society.

The Chairman of the Grayling Society
Steve Rhodes (below)
was voted in as the new Chairman of the Society at the AGM in November
2005.
Formerly Vice-Chairman, Steve has been a GS member since 1986; he is also a
Trustee of the Grayling Research Trust and a Director of 'Go Fly Fishing
UK Ltd.'
